The Wärtsilä Navi-Sailor 4000 is a type-approved Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) for voyage planning and monitoring. It meets IMO and SOLAS chart carriage requirements for paperless navigation. It combines official electronic charts with live data from the ship's sensors, and flags hazards along the planned route before the ship reaches them. It works with bridge equipment from many brands, and its hardware is ready for the new S-100 chart standards.
